Dear Friends of The Developmentalist,
Next Wednesday, September 9, Steve McIntosh will give an introductory talk on his new book, Truth Emerging: A Developmental Philosophy of Purpose and Progress, which publishes September 30. This is the first of two talks he’s giving to the Zoom group on the book—a general-audience introduction on September 9, and a more advanced philosophical talk on October 14.
A note from Steve about next week’s talk:
Dear Zoom group members: I’m deeply grateful for your ongoing participation in our group. I’m excited to share my new book, but I want to clarify that next week’s introductory talk will be geared for a general audience that is not familiar with developmental philosophy. I know many of you are experts in this field, and so you may not be interested in hearing “the basics.” If this is the case, I invite you to skip September’s talk and join us in October for the more advanced lecture. However, if you’re willing to hear a basic introduction to the book, even though I’ll be covering many of the same themes I’ve discussed in previous talks, I would greatly appreciate your attendance on September 9th. Either way, thanks very much for your ongoing interest on our work. Sincerely, Steve.
When: Wednesday, September 9, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Mountain Time
